Qalat Baalbak Restaurant, nestled in the vibrant heart of Al Barsha, Dubai, offers a genuine taste of Lebanon’s rich culinary heritage. This cozy eatery stands out for its impeccable balance of fresh herbs, tangy lemon, fragrant garlic, and the finest olive oil — all hallmarks of authentic Lebanese cuisine. The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, complemented by attentive and friendly service that makes every visit feel like a special occasion.
The menu at Qalat Baalbak is a celebration of traditional flavors, with highlights that truly shine. Their hot mezza selections, such as the Sujuk with pomegranate molasses and the tender chicken liver drizzled with lemon garlic, deliver bold layers of flavor with each bite. The Lamb Brain dish, marinated expertly and served with garlic sauce, invites adventurous diners to experience a rare delight. Meanwhile, their sandwiches and burgers redefine comfort food through a Lebanese lens — the Lebanese Burger, with its homemade beef patty and perfectly grilled tomato, strikes a harmonious balance between juicy and savory, while the Raw Kibbeh sandwich offers a fresh, vibrant taste that lingers on the palate.
Among the many standouts, the shawarma has been praised repeatedly by patrons for its authentic, juicy quality — a culinary emblem of Lebanon expertly crafted here. The restaurant manages to preserve the Mediterranean tradition’s emphasis on fresh, balanced ingredients without resorting to heavy sauces. This dedication to authenticity transforms simple dishes into a memorable dining experience. As a food enthusiast, I find Qalat Baalbak’s offerings not only flavorful but also deeply comforting, echoing the warmth of Lebanese hospitality.
For anyone seeking a genuine Lebanese food journey in Dubai, Qalat Baalbak Restaurant is an unmissable destination. From the vibrant hot mezza to the succulent grills and well-crafted sandwiches, it captures the spirit and soul of Lebanese cuisine effortlessly. Whether you’re indulging in their famed Sujuk or savoring the delicate notes of the Raw Kibbeh, the restaurant promises dishes that resonate with tradition, freshness, and a touch of home.

Lebanese cuisine is widely regarded as one of the most balanced, fresh, and vibrant culinary traditions in the world. It is a Mediterranean treasure that focuses on herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil rather than heavy sauces or fats.

We had traditional Lebanese raw meat here, and I absolutely loved it (try it with olive oil and pomegranate sauce). Their soujouk shawarma was also very good.

Excellent food quality and service. Will never fail you whether you are eating alone for a quick meal, or inviting family or friends out to treat them to a meal. Everything from quality of ingredients and cooking, to portion sizes, presentation of the dishes and cleanliness of the tables, floor, plates and cutlery. Prices are also very resonable in comparison to other Lebanese restaurants with similar menus and food quality. Great value for money.
